We are not crazy. We simply have been bewitched by the beauty of these orchids! They truely must be one of the more successful of the plant families on earth. Other than those we eat.

Yeah DJ you get the prize. Tindo I also go to work if I think my violets need watering cause nobody at work would water them, nor would they know how to. They'd just pour water all over them.
Wish I could take this work and share it. Everyone who knows me thinks I'm crazy for getting up an hour & half earlier than I have to just to take care of them.

Ditto on the above
Another crazy thing I do every day; I bring inside my blooming or in spike orchids before bed and put them back out in the morning
It started after the two spikes on my Miltonia stenoglossa
got chomped off [by a mouse me thinks ] back in spring.. never again!

Posting like you've never posted before.
Ok an obviously crazy thing- thinking that a mist system would be great for an orchidarium/vivarium with Pleurothallis and other mini orchids or that you'd really like to try out epiweb, or get a calendar with pretty orchid photos and posting like you've never posted before on the off chance you might win a competition against people who are as crazy as you are about orchids!
