Phal - Spike but no flower
Default Phal - Spike but no flower
My last phal. did not bloom. It had about a 2 foot spike, then pea size bulbs, then the bulbs turned black and fell off. I dont' know what happened. I hadn't changed anything. Now I have 3 more phals with spikes and I don't want the same thing to happen.

Any suggestions?

all of my phals are in s/h, near an east window. They are all doing well, lots of new leaves and new roots. I have 4 with new spikes.

How's the humidity? Could the spike have been exposed to any temperature extremes (cold or hot)?
