Well I just hope that I get another spike. It is such a pungent aroma that I'd like more of it. Hopefully It'll spike again soon and the flowers will be upright instead of bowled over

I love Oncidiums I want the bright yellow one, don't know the name but I think it's called Bois Sonja. I'll have to put it on the wish list and get it after I've got a Vanda in a glass, love them!

Oh, how beautiful! I nearly got a yellow one from Tesco, but it was at the same time as I got the Nelly and a beautiful phal and the hubby was sighing so I didnt get it, I regret it now

I found the solution to huffing husbands is to not take them with u

my windowsill has enough orchids now that I can slipped the new ones in and hubby doesn't even notice!

Hehe, aww, I think I have got him used to the idea of them now, it just took a little while

I repotted my nelly isler today, there was moss in the middle, but not a huge amount, the roots seem white though, I hope that's not a bad sign :s There was some green on the ends of some. Here is a pic of the PB, hopefully she will be ok!

Hi Skirril,
In my limited experience I believe that white roots is the aim and black roots means decay. So I think you're o.k with that. RosieC will know. She's a pro! Nelly looks very healthy.
