Question Changing pots

Hello everyone.

I purchased two new orchids recently (Laelia Anceps & Angraecum Sesquipedale). They are pretty young and are in 2" pots. They are growing fairly quickly and I was curious as to when I should worry about when I should move them into a 2.5" or 3" pot. Any ideas? Thank you!

Just my 2 cents, but as a general "rule" pot size is determined by size of the root ball, not by the size of the plant. So maybe that will help you determine when it should be moved up a size.

repot according to whatever schedule works for you (such as once yearly, etc). After you unpot and clean off the old media, gently place the bare root plant back in the old pot. If it fits easily, use that pot again. If it's tight, use a pot that's one size bigger.
