SEASON'S GREETING!

1) I don't know if there's or was a topic like this in the past. If so, mods kindly remove this thread.

2) I don't know if this is right. i am just thirsty for knowledge...that's why i'm asking.

3) If you want to be specific for every species/genus of orchid you have please do so.

I would just like to know how you take good care of your collections/beauts/babies/orchids? From just plain watering to secret formulas perhaps. hehehe. And of course, 1 or 3 things that you regret doing to your orchs. I guess, this is going to be fun.

As far as I know there are no secret formulas. In order to raise the best orchid you must give it the very best light for its type, water when it needs it, and fertilizer on a fairly regular basis at the right time of year. Any orchid would thrive under these conditions.

Things I regret having done to my orchids?
Let's see...

-carrying budding chids home in the cold (they blasted of course)
-not soaking a bark mix before potting (dried up some roots)
-killing a den by not giving it a winter rest
-put a paph in an ornamental orchid pot, which caused it to dry out way too fast
