Question Oncidium intergenarics

I have a odontocidium tiger crow 'Golden Girl' that not only made a full recovery from being completely infested with scale in the last two months(discount plant) but is now growing wonderfully and flowring. It would seem it likes my growing conditions. I was wondering if there are any other oncidium intergenarics that like the same growing conditions as odontocidiums?

Almost all Oncidium alliance like the same conditions.

There is so much to chose from. Check out the spider orchids Brassia. The Wilsonara are very easy to grow.

Your temperature zone should do well for almost all types.

Do you grow cool, intermediate, or warm?

There's a wide range to choose from in the Oncidium Alliance (it's a huge alliance).

Since you're talking about intergenerics, it's not my topic of expertise. But I do know a few cool growing species (that is if you're growing your Odontocidium in cool conditions).

Otherwise I'll leave it up to the people who grow more Oncs than I do give the advice.

Odontoglossums tend to prefer cooler conditions, and often bring a bit of that to their crosses. With that in mind, and considering the success you've had, you should probably do well with crosses with brassia, cochlioda, and ada in them.

That said, I would classify your growing area more intermediate than cool, so that actually gives you even more options.

I would like to take this opportunity to commend you on your approach to selecting plants. While Tiger Crow may have been an impulse buy, you have obviously recognized that it and your conditions are a good match, so are using that as a guide for future selections

Thanks for the breakdown Ray! and kudos to you for inventing s/h! S/h is partially the reason why its doing so well! I just always keep an inch or two of water in its container and i never have to worry about it drying out!
