Watered every morning, sometimes in the evening as well, and soaked for 30 mins or so every other day. The leaves are all nice and stiff, but where the terminal leaf joins the cane it always seems really floppy, so I think its getting enough water. Roots have exploded with the start of the wet season, all nice and green and white, so that's not it either.

I can't say what the problem is, but just wanted to add that one of my dens has a twisted leaf at the top and is now in spike. So, I don't think the twisted leaf has anything to do with your plant not flowering. Good luck!

I've got a spike forming! Guess a bit much nitrogen didn't do it much harm at all! Will post pics when it's a bit bigger
