Cymbidium with Spots in Colorado
Default Cymbidium with Spots in Colorado

Hi from Colorado,

I'm a newbie on the site. I've been growing Phals and doing pretty well. Have a question on my Cymbidium that I have had for a year now. Don't have a name for it since I got it at Whole Foods. What can I do about the spots? Are they bad, should I spray it with something? Why are my leaves turning brown? Had to repot this summer and the roots were all packed in. I wasn't able to separate it much, did the best I could. Half of the roots were just dried up. So many questions so little time. I have attached photos.

Any suggestions welcome. Thanks!

I am also interested because I have the same problem each year. And I am sure it is not due to to much fertilyser (to much nitrogen). I have tried copper salts and mancozeb without real succes.
