Terminal spike with keiki?
Default Terminal spike with keiki?

Hi guys, i hope im posting in the right place. Though ive has orchids for such a long time, i have never come across this issue. I was give this phal almost a year ago with so many healthy roots, leaves and gorgeous flowes. but unfortunately after it finished blooming, i noticed it got crown rot. i quickly took it out of its pot and cut off almost 95% of the roots as they were rotted and soaked it in hydrogen peroxide. i kept a close eye on it for a while and it seemed to have stopped the spread. Well, i left town for a few weeks and when i came back i thought i saw a new leaf growing! i was so excited but after a few more weeks i noticed another little leaf coming out of the center of the newer leaf which was still tiny itself. my guess is that its a terminal spike... what im not sure of is why it has two leaves...is it trying to push out a keiki before it dies? it definitely has no good roots at all and the two remaining leaves are very soft and thin. i will try to post pictures from oldest to newest on here, if not they will be in my albums..... anyones opinion advice will help me a lot!!! the odd new growth has occurred all within two months but now seems to have stopped. what do you guys think??
