Question my new plant ... I think is a dend!

Hello! I'm a total newbie when it comes to orchids ...
Today I adopted what seems to be a dend, I repotted and watered (it really need it)

I'm attaching some photos of my new plant, Would you guys please look at the photos and tell me what you think of the plant? Is there anything that needs attention?

Could anybody also tell me what kind of orchid this is?

I apreciate any feed back, thank you

I see what looks like the start of new growth in third photo. Your plant looks very healthy.

Ahhhhh...very good Ken might have missed it myself if I didn't look close enough...just love when they start peaking out ... let the growth games begin..

Yep looks like a dend to me, looks extremely healthy firm leaves no shrinkage to the cane.. you've done quite well.

It will be hard to know if it has parentage until she blooms, but suggestively whatever your doing at this point apparently is working. If it was unhappy you better believe it will start pouting...keep up the good work
