Very informative thread -- thanks guys.

Bingo -- Do catt hybrids need less light than catt species plants?

I'm growing catt hybrids in a W-facing window using two 42W CFLs about 6" from the main growing space, but I've only been doing this for a few months, so I don't know what works (or fails) and I'm trying to get all of the information I can. thanks!

In my hands the hybrids don't seem as demanding as some of the species.

I was having trouble getting my Catt species to bloom and Mauro (Rosim in Brazil) told me that they might need more light. Since all his Catts are incredible I followed his advice and voila-- they are starting to bloom.

I love OB!
