Orchids in frog vivariums
I was wondering. I have a paph that is very small and I can't seem to keep it moist enough on the humidity trays my other orchids are on.Would it grow good in a vivarium I have dartfrogs in?

small orchids
what small orchids would you all suggest for a begginer, to put inside a 29 gallon tank? My humidity levels in there are usually between 75% and 80%.
Thanks.
P.S. hope this board takes off!

Depends on where you are from, I've found quite a bit of healthy orchids at my local Trader Joe's that have fairly small stalks but huge, beautiful flowers.

Nah, the only place I know where they sell orchids, they sell only the big long stalks.

You brought up a topic that interests me greatly. Like previously mentioned, most orchids don't like to have any standing water on the plant. If there is no way around this make sure the watering is done in the morning so there is sufficent day time heat to dry excess water. I thought of setting up a dart frog terraium with orchids, but instead have put resources to just orchids.
You'll have a hard time finding many orchids that will do well in a terraium, but I would reccomend trying phrags just because of there susceptibility to overwatering. Then just make sure you give them adequate light, and you might have some success. I have been growing most of my orchids hydroponically and the phrags are loving it. Viel Glueck!
