Amazing fragrance!
Mum bought me this lovely fella for my birthday. It's unbelievably fragrant - can't put my finger on what it is, but I get flashbacks to my Grandmother's medicine cabinet, something to do with milk-of-magnesia, but much more appealing. Strange! Can't keep my hands off it, or my nose out of it!
There was (of course) no label, other than the vendor, whose website calls it a 'Van Holm'.
I love it!

It's gorgeous!!! Looks like it has some Onc. ornithorynchem in it to me but not sure, ofcourse . That type also has a very strong fragrance, which some like and some don't.
Great birthdaypresent!

Thanks Renée, I'll take a look at that! This one is certainly potent - it fills the room. Delicious!

I have this one. The smell also reminded me of medicine. I couldn't put my finger on exactly what it is though.

your orchid looks very close to Mtdm Ruffles ‘Scent of a Woman. On Ruffles the lip is a bit wider.
Ruffles has been used lately to create several new hybrids so yours may be a child of Ruffles.
Ruffles x Sharry Baby (Heaven Sscent) is one of my favorite crosses, but it smells like chocolate from the Sharry Baby parent so it is not your orchid.
