Where are you keeping those plants? It looks like a bad sunburn. They need to be put somewhere where they are getting less light, for example under a tree with light shade, or under a shade cloth to block some of the sun.

Very pretty blooms, Winterain, and welcome to OB! I agree with Camille.... too much sun.
Your dendrobium likes to dry out between watering and loves being pot bound.

Yup yup, I can relate to the buy and buy part!
It's a dendrobium and they do like sun, but not direct midday sun where it would burn the leaves. I also think that type you have may need a winter rest. Not sure when for your area, but where it's blooming now, I'd wait on that. You might want to look that up, though. Happy growing!

That's a phal type Dendrobium, so they don't need a winter rest. You can treat it the same way all year round, especially seeing the type of climate you have!

Camille, I get so confused at which dend. needs winter rest. I don't know the dends to know what's what. Is there a book that helps with that? I know there is a thread here on OB about what needs winter rest, but if you have dend noids....and don't know, it isn't helpful.
Is there a way of telling types of dends? Rule of thumb? Something? Appreciate it, and sorry for
