I don't know if you performed this step or not, but I think this is the biggest reason the person was able to succeed.

Secret:

Coconut water

Coconut water is liquid endosperm (simplified definition of endosperm is food for a plant embryo). It contains lots of phytohormones.

I think the easier way for you to do node culture is to do the Keiki Pro thing. It's essentially the same thing minus all the other steps involved with the peat moss node culture technique.

Of course you can go ahead and try the peat moss node culture technique again and post your progress.

yeah. the nodes have long dried since i cut them off during the repot. i couldn't find any coconut milk or coconuts. a later search of the pantry revealed a can of it. oh well at least i know what to do next time. thanks :)
