a few months later and some growth 1 or 2 spikes! Male
Default a few months later and some growth 1 or 2 spikes!

So I started in June with some rescue phals and then some ebay and exchanges.

the Phal equestris grew a lot and now has what looks like it is spiking [it was way smaller no spikes when I got it from Larry's orchids]. I got it with a P bastianii taht is smaller and doing well and a P. manny that came with poor roots and I wonder if it will make it or wilt to death.

I see new roots in the Catt guttata I put in SH. And the Vanda pak chong from Smileys [best seller ever] is spiking [i was not able to see the spike a month ago].

Small Vandas from royal orchid club that came with no roots almost are growing new roots. and My CP Pinguiculas and Droseras are fine also my Den keikis [cucullatum, loddigeseii! thanks for the exchanges/ give aways].

what is growing really fast is a reed stem epi that I got.
My Spathoglottis plicata has new growth - wonder if it may spike or is it just new leaves/divisions.

and a cutting of Ludisia discolor seems to be rooting.
and I have a nice small Enc tampensis.

what I am worried about is the Den formosum that grew very lush in the summer and I tried SH but did not seem to like it [like the Catlleyas and others] i repotted it in traditional medium [bark mix] bI see no new roots. I wonder if yellowing of leaves is normal in the fall.
Anyway I really appreciated being on this board.., even if with the information etc i caught a virus maybe!
not a computer virus!

I also put a piece of sugar cane in a pot - horizontally and is rooting from 2 ends.
