Ok, I'm not really sure here, but this kind of looks like a Dendrobium Polar Fire. I remember seeing one on the board here, and thinking it was really pretty, but couldn't seem to find a place here in the US that sells them....

I'm not sure it's polar file. It looks different to mine and to the other pics I've seen.

This is mine for comparison if you want to see what you think.

I think the white is whiter and the pink is pinker (if that makes sence).

It could be the same but to be honest annaverity's didn't remind me of that until you said.

Well, the certainly look similar!

However, I don't think they're quite the same, since the petals of the Polar Fire look longer and somewhat pointier than those of whatever mine is. Also, the lower part (my knowledge of flower anatomy is basically nil -- the part that looks like a tongue!) has a different shape -- mine is simply round while the Polar Fire has a little contour and point at the end.

Other than that, though, the coloring and everything does look remarkably similar.

I think I agree, yours is rounder and the shape of the 'lip' is different.

Anyway, a name does not matter as long as you know how to care for it and you like it. Most of my orchids are unidentified.
