Hi stefpix,

I live in Cocoa Beach, Fl. I grow all my orchids outside under a large shefflera tree located on a patio protected on the east and north side. I have 15-20 plants; phals, dend., catt., BLC, LC, pot., oncidium, enclyclia, cybidium. Cymbidium came from Calif., they look healthy & keep producing new leaf clusters, but have not bloomed yet.

Hi jaxorchidman,

Most of my plants were given to me & produce some shade of purple or violet. I have a yellow oncidium, one bloomed last year was a nice orange blend I think it was an lc LLary Ann Paradise.

Hi lostonthebeach,

I know, I am always amazed at the diversity of the flower shapes of the different orchid alliances. They are all so exotic and I love the symmetry too.
