Here is a pic of my egret orchid that I grew from a tiny little bulb. Took a while to get a decent pic sorted!

Aww...

How cute.

Were you the one who was asking about this orchid about a year ago wondering what to do with it? I remember that someone was a nurse or caretaker of a patient, and the patient gave it to the nurse/caretaker.

Was that you?

If it was, how cool was that!

What is the proper name of your egret orchid? I think it is beautiful and would like to grow one too. I am very new at this game and trying to learn all I can so I can keep orchids alive after I buy them.
Thanks for the peek at your handy work.
Gareth

That's gorgeous, well done you! How long has it taken to grow from a bulb to this lovely bloom?

I planted it around April time, so not long! The bloom has just gone brown and about to fall though looks more like a sparrow now than an egret!!

Very lovely. What is it's culture? Is it temperature tolerant?
