Default Could this be a new bloom on my paph???

Hello,
I've had this paph for 1 1/2 years and it has not yet bloomed again.
It is one of the types that only flower one large flower from each growth.
The growth in question has not put out any new leaves in a long while.
Although the thing growing in the center looks like it could be a new leaf, it feels different. If I touch the crown with two fingers it feels like there is a hard bump in the center.
Because I've never had it bloom for me before, I don't know what to look for.

Please let me know what you think new leaf or bloom???

Its hard to tell from the photo. Although the new growth looks abit thin to be a bud, but then buds don't always fill in right away either. Need a photo with more light on it. Right now i'll say its a leaf growth.

Ok, lets try these pictures... they are a little fuzzy though. With the iphone, if you get too close it blurs... ugh.

it is labeled Paph. (tree of Amanda X Cochise) 'Hslao' x paph. Hama Chilwin 'In-charm' BM/TPS

How do you explain the bump in the crown?

Bump in the crown???

I don't see one...

Where is it?

I'm not being definitive with my answer with the leaf.

I didn't say that "It's a leaf."

I said "It looks like a leaf."
