Default Miltoniopsis Hajime ono 5 years old - has never bloomed

Why won't my Miltoniopsis Hajime Ono bloom. The plant is very healthy. I've transplanted it and it has a lot of new growth. Please help. Thank you

I'm sorry, but you've got to be much more specific and detailed about the growing conditions, your growing practices, and quite possibly throw in some pics for anyone to give you their assessment of the problem in any way.

You're not providing enough of the necessary info for people to give you an intelligent answer.

Imagine this scenario...

You're a vet and I'm the owner of a frog, let's say it's a Poison Dart Frog the species is the Golden Poison Dart Frog (Phyllobates terribilis). I come up to you one day and all I tell you is:

"Doc, my Golden Poison Dart Frog (Phyllobates terribilis) is kinda a bit sluggish than usual. I've kept him for 6 years. I don't know...it looks fine, and it's eating. I'm sorry I don't have him with me. What's wrong with it?"

Thank you for your response. I have attached a few pics (above). My growing habitat is indoors. Defused bright sunlight. The room temp maintains 70 degrees +/- 2 degrees. The plant is on a humidity type growing tray. Watered about every 2 weeks. Trays are also emptied and cleaned when the plants are watered. I have 23 orchids (different types) and have been growing for 12 years. This is the only Miltoniopsis.

Usually when I have trouble getting something to bloom it responds well to increased light. Milts are no exception. They need pretty bright light to bloom well.

Check this link out:

Miltoniopsis Culture

It's to the Miltoniopsis Culture article on the Charles and Margaret Baker's culture sheet website.

You can check out their homepage for the services provided. I don't recall which one of the couple passed, but it's still a running site and their services are still provided to this day.

the plant looks very dark green. maybe it's just the picture lighting? my miltoniopsis are a much much lighter shade of green and they bloom fine. i strongly suspect that they're not getting enough light.
