This plant was a gift, came from a nursery in Salinas, CA. It is a odontoglossum/oncydium hybrid. It has new growth but as you can see, black spots on the some leaves. Is it virused? Should I treat or remove from other plants?
It's hard to tell, but it looks more like the plant was damaged at one point by either spider mites or thrips. I don't really think it's a virus. Watch the new growth on it. If it grows out healthy looking it likely wasn't a virus. Virus particles accumulate systemically in the plant and would leave symptoms on the freshly grown leaves.
