Default leaf marks?

so lately it looks as if someone has taken a pin and marked the surface of this leave, any idea what's going on? too much sun perhaps?

Not sure what else might be going on, but your plant is dehydrated. Check the roots.

UPDATE

i just found small droplets of very sticky liquid along the edges of my leaf. just took to them with alcohol/water and a q-tip. what's up with that?

also, Paphman, my phal is in a clear pot and all the visible roots are doing well. the roots that are not so visible, i can sort of see as they either approach the sides of the pot or run along the bottom, and they're also doing well. white-ish/green with green tips.

that one droopy leaf in the previous picture fluctates. it's droopy until i water, then for a week pretends like it's at attention.

To me the plant looks fine. The droplets look like they are just sap from the leaves. If you taste it, it's very sweet. Some plants that are very full of water will sometimes let some out as droplets, or it's a way to attract good insects. Has that dimpling just recently appeared?

What Camille said.

Nothing wrong.

Sap is excess sugars secreted by the plant. Surplus production of sugars.

Some Phals have that ribbing.

Run a cotton ball over the back of the leaf. If you see spots on it, they may be mites. If not, you're okay.

thanks for the responses, guys. Yes, that dimpling is very recent. i pay close attention to my plants, and it seemed as if one day they just kinda popped up.
