Exclamation New growth, And some duds

Ok, so for the past 5-7 months, my big phal has just sat on my desk with no intrest in blooming for me at all And my den just leans to the right and looks un-interested it the beautiful eastern sunshine it gets every day....... And im also pretty sure I have killed both my cute little phal hybrids. So it's safe to say that all hope is lost, or so I thought.... I recently took my big phal further away from the window, in hopes that it would try and do somthing, and I'm extreamly excited to say that not only did it start to bud, but a brand new baby leaf is growing!!!!!!! While this makes me Super Duper happy, my other chids are still dying, and I fear I have no way of saving them..... help please!!!!

Good news on the buds and leaf! Are your other phals mounted or in pots? If in pots, have you checked to see if their roots are ok and not rotting?

Can you post pictures?

Others will chime in with helpful advise but will probably want to know the same things.

I can't show you pictures because my camera is acting up, but I can be pretty discriptive.....
My other phals both in pots have shrivled leaves(still green) and one of them has barely any roots left....the other just dries too fast for me to water.... i can show you what they used to look like but I might cry in the process......

Just leave the ones with no roots in a shallow pan with a good layer of perlite or pumice. Fill the tray with water periodically, and don't let it dry out. Put the Phals without roots on top just laying over the pumice or perlite. Provide the same kind of light as the Phal that's doing well for you, and see if that'll work.

It's a crap shoot, maybe it'll work, maybe it won't. It doesn't hurt to try.
