:Hmm well the next step is, lighting. My lighting is strong enough to give my Lc.'s a purple tinge, is that good for Vandas?

I would say so

Are you using natural light, artificial light or both?

Tindo, I have succeeded in growing vanda's in the nook. They are in wooden baskets. I give them a nice dunk every morning and a misting, religously, daily and a 2nd mist every now and than, on my early outs from the depot. They seem to be happy

Cheryl, that is some serious dedication to your plants! I have to motivate myself to water mine just once a week!

What do you mean by growing them i the nook?? Nook and cranny? A dark spot???

I also mist my orchids every morning before I leave for work. Sometimes I get to work a wee bit latish.
But how would you feel if no one gave you water early in the day, and you are standing in sunshine, and all because the person in charge of giving you a drink has to go to work poor babies!!!

Thanks Daemon..it is rewarding. Tindo, nook as in breakfast nook and running out of room so I guess you could say every "nook" and cranny

If I am late..oh well, they will get over it...somethings are more important

Hehe, thanks for the clarification. I've never heard that term 'nook' used that way before.
