Default Can't find your Brassia's happy place?

I have a number of Brassia, Brassidium and Miltonia chids which all seem to absolutely THRIVE on a shelf out in the orchid room which gets direct west Florida sun through a tinted window (about 20% shading)...

they are all growing crazy roots, growths and spikes/buds!

Just thought I'd pass along my findings

Great info Sue.

I put both my Miltonia and my Miltoniopsis in a west window a couple of weeks ago and I'm seeing growth on both (the Miltonia is the newish project plant, but the Miltoniopsis was previously doing nothing in an east window).

Of course I don't get your Florida sun, just the UK dim, ocasional sort

Can't argue with results! You got me thinking and most of mine get the most eastern. You may have something there.

But Sue, don't all of your orchids have crazy roots, spikes and buds?
