Ok, point well made. it is just frustrating when you get a plant and don't know it's name. just got 3 new minis from Kroger. they have great color and i like the mini size. came from Costa Orchids. once again, they came packed in so tight i almost could not get them out of the cute ceramic post and of course, they were spping wet. i have learned that i have to get htem out of the "cute" ceramic pots right away or the roots will rot and bye bye pretty orchid. i have also figured out that they pot them that way for shipping. packed tight and they won't fall out. use only spagnum (?) and they wn't dry out in transit. just wish they would tell people to get them into proper pots/medium right away. know of many who now consider orchids hard plants to grow because they were not told that.
