Sorry to alarm you unnecessarily, but yes, we must always be vigilant. They could also have been aphids. You might want to clean the shoots with a cotton swab dipped in alcohol.

No apology necessary! I am grateful for you taking the time to help and for spotting things that I may have missed. I really do appreciate it! Better safe than sorry. :) I am getting ready to go in, grab the alcohol and some swabs, and give the shoots a good cleaning. Thanks again for your help!!!
