WOW!!! Such great responses and weath of information...I'm thrilled.

After reading all the links plus info, I ended up downloading the Cattleya-Log trial program plus copied some MS Access database info. I found another promising program (can't remember the name), but it was only for MAC's...darn it.

I love OB...you're all so responsive and helpful.

I take a different approach to variations in watering needs.

Instead of tracking the plants individually, so I know when these need it, and those do, etc., I adjust my container and medium choice so they all get to the point of watering at about the same time.

As far as tracking plants so that you know about purchases, losses, blooming times, etc., I agree with Ross that OrchidWiz is great.

Now THAT is my ultimate goal. I've been reading through all the fantastic S/H info on your site and this site and hope to start trying it on a several different kinds of plants this winter or spring. It would be so much simpler

Would any of you who use Excel to track your orchids be willing to share your spreadsheet/file? I would love to have a more detailed (if not more scientific) method of tracking my orchids.
