Help with posting please.
I would like to insert some pics in a post to illustrate a problem. Clicking the 'insert' icon asks for a URL - I have the pics in Flickr, but after inserting the urls, adding one comment, when I clicked on submit, was told I wasn't logged in. I did log in, but each time I try this, I'm told I'm not. Kind of confusing. Obviously I'm doing something incorrectly. I'd appreciate some advice, please.

thank you, but it doesn't help me.
What if I don't have my pics on line, but on my hard drive? How do I put one of them into a post. Obviously I'm not able to do it from a url as I keep losing my logged in status.

Hi Annie -
to post pix that are on your computer you can click on the attachment button, and click browse. Choose the location of the pic, and when you get to the pic, you can just double click on it. when you are done click upload button from the attachement page. Alternately you can upload pix to the OB gallery. From the gallery copy and paste the the 'linked thumbnail' url into your post

You can add pics by clicking the manage attachments tab when you make a post, you need to make sure the pics are about 97kb in size so you will have to resize them, you can also host your pics on a site like photobucket.
Hope this helps you

Ah HAH. I was looking for "attach" button, not a 'manage attachments'...and thank you very much indeed. I managed to get them in there and not lose my log in either! Much obliged.

Thank you - I got started before your post got to me. I think the pics are large enough to show the problems, but I was kind of worried as they are over 19 Kb as recommended in that drop down. However, I appreciate your help - and I think I'll also put them into Flickr just in case!
