Okay, so we put the spanish moss aside (thanks for the info!
) and concentrated on what roots could still be saved. Turns out that all new green roots comes from the two keikis, the mother had only three stumps of approx 1 dm each that looked somewhat healthy green when cut.
If the mother doesn't grow new roots we expect we will have to cut off the top, perhaps dip it in IBA rooting hormone gel (IBA being the most potent variety available here in Sweden from what I understand), and hope for the best. The keikis seem healthy enough to be able to survive on their own, though?
