Default Epicyclia care

I can't find any information on light, temp, etc requirements for Epicyclias. I just received a Epc. Rene Marques 'Tyler.' Right now I have it in a west facing window at the moment with a sheer curtain potted in LECA in a net pot and watering every other day or so.

Anyone with any experience with these that could give me some tips to make it thrive?

Isn't Epc the abbreviation for Epicattleya?

Epc. René Marqués (Epi. pseudepidendrum x C. Claesiana)

Epc is the abbreviation for Epidendrum Cattleya cross.

Many Epidendrum have been to Encyclia. The round pseudobulb ones are now Encyclia and only the reed stems remain. Cty (Catyclia is the abbreviation for those reclassified Cattleya Encyclia crosses).

Epc. René Marqués remains an Epc so grow it the same as a reed stem Epi.

I have many of these and find they are slow growing and the plants always look scraggly but Oh what beautiful flowers.

Awesome, thanks. I'll stick it with my other reed stem Epis.
