Often the complaints are that their flowers are too small. Or they're too weird. And my favorite, they look like weeds.

Louis_C, Encyclia (Anacheilum) fragrans is pretty fragrant. Might not be as fragrant as Aerangis fastuosa or Brassavola cucullata, but you won't have problems smelling them either.
Encyclia (Anacheilum) cochleata and Enc (Anacheilum) radiata are both equally as fragrant as Enc fragrans. Enc cochleata being the more unusual flower.
All the Enc (Anacheilum) species mentioned are easy growers.
