dieing of new orchid roots
Default dieing of new orchid roots

hi, im very new to growing orchids. the thing is i got a plant and it started shooting new roots, very tiny ones so i repotted it.
1. exposed the root to sunlight.
2. repotted using charcoal and coconut husk( i live in indonesia)
3. and sprayed it with water daily

i have kept the orchid inside the house and mosquitoes were seen on them. now the roots have dried up and there are holes like tunnels in them. the leaves are also wilting. can anyone advice me on what i sould do

Hello nooreen and welcome to the OB.
What kind of orchid do you have? Can you post a picture, it will help in answering your questions.
