Hi there and welcome to the OB... I wouldn't use moss as it holds to much moisture which may cause root rot..

If you are going to repot them I would use more bark. Clean the roots as best you can cutting of any dead roots then repot them. I use listerene to rinse the roots off. Do you see any new roots growing if so now is the time to repot. I usually repot or replace the medium they are purchased it as soon as I get them home.
