Default What medium for bulbophyllum?

I just got my first bulbophyllum. It came planted in sphag, which I don't grow anything in. I know that these plants like to be moist, should it stay in sphag or should I repot into something else? I'm interested to know what medium others use.

I've got about a dozen Bulbos. The ones that aren't mounted are in baskets with a 50/50 sphagnum/tree fern mix, which I've found to be working really well in my conditions. The tree fern helps keep the mix open and prevents the moss from compacting. I let it get dry to the touch before I water it again, bearing in mind that the moss underneath, that you can't see, is still holding a lot of moisture.

I also have about a dozen. A few are planted in straight sphag. with large sponge rock, others in 50/50 sphag with bark and CHC. All are in open baskets. As long as you keep them fairly wet, never letting them fully dry out, you'll be fine in whatever your choice of mediums. Personally, I think sphag. is a Bulbo's best friend!
