Default Beginner needs help with oncidium hybrid

Hello all,

I posted a request for some help on the oncidium forum last night.

I thought I would link to it since the beginner forum might be more appropriate:

http://www.orchidboard.com/community...um-hybrid.html

I would greatly appreciate your help.

Thank you,
Nick

My suggestion is to not mess with success for now.

Experiment later when you got more than you can ever handle and more experience. That way if you lose one colony, you'll have others.

You've bloomed it. You've grown it. You've even seen it kheiki. That's pretty good in my opinion.

I can't tell you when you should divide the plant. But, what I can say is that if you were to divide it, you'd have to divide by at least 3 back bulbs and one lead if possible. More back bulbs and more lead shoots per division are even better.

Thank you King,

I'm not quite sure what a back bulb is. Could you explain a bit more

Nick
