Kathy, be careful putting that plant in full sun. It will burn.

If the problem was insects, it would be proceeding, while yours lo0oks like it ran its course and is over. You're probably just dealing with bad conditions at the place you got it, and it improved when coming home with you. You'll likely never see the issue again on that plant.
