You won't find a care sheet for brassidiums because their needs are quite variable, depending upon the makeup.

Don't forget that O x O x O x O x B, which is likely a warm grower, and B x B x B x B x O, which might very well be a cool grower are both brassidiums!

In the case of Fly Away, bright, indirect light and intermediate temperatures are quite good. FWIW, they do really well in semi-hydroponics, too.

Well thanks and good to know about the semi-hydroponics. I might give that a shot one day but its a little costly for me at this step in the game. I was also wondering about a light/timer setup, the window sill is too unpredictable for my liking. I was thinking two 4 ft daylight bulbs ought to do the trick. is that too much? What would you recommend?

With artificial lighting, you gain a lot of flexibility, as you can change the distance to the plants to vary the light intensity.

I would think that about 2500-3500 fc for 14 hours per day would be perfect.

Consider T5 fixtures. They are more efficient and far superior to ordinary "shop lights".

Bright indirect light and I let mine dry out a bit between waterings. Mine are in Long fibered sphag moss.

My Blackgold shooting star is in bloom right now:

Tommy, those black gold shooting stars are beautiful. I need to get my hands on a camera to show off my 'fly away', also in bloom right now. You'll see it soon enough.

Ray, I had some trouble finding T5s. Not really sure what the difference is between T5, T8, and T12 is. What I wound up getting was two 4ft fluorescent fixtures on clearance and four 40 watt bulbs four the price of one regular priced fixture. $30. They have 3050 lumen's and 6500 kelvin. Its a temp solution till I have the money to buy some nicer lights online.
