Default Twin-Wall PC Greenhouse Glazing Panels

I am seeking reasonably nearby supplier(s) for twin-wall polycarbonate panels for glazing a greenhouse. I live in Oriental, NC, on the intracoastal waterway.

Hi HD,
Try ACF Greenhouses. They are in Buffalo Junction, VA just over the border from NC. I bought a Cross Country GH from them last Sept and they are great to work with.Phone is 1/888/888-9050 and website is www.acfgreenhouses.com or ACF Greenhouses - Best selection of greenhouse kits and hobby greenhouse supplies. All the stuff I wrote didn't come out for some reason but you can reach them easily

I live on Ocracoke and have a small twin wall I got from Growers supply - in two years time it has started pulling apart from the aluminum struts - mostly because of wind popping panels back and forth - know you have similar circumstances so reinforce - Arcadia makes several triple wall with very heavy aluminum braces supposed to withstand hurricane force winds - I am very pleased with the one I got last year when the other began falling apart. A friend here has a cedar and double ply and it is very leaky as the cedar shrinks. Hope this helps.

Thanks, agolley and 1kathlene. I'll contact ACF. Kathlene, I'm planning to build mine out of treated lumber and polycarbonate. Maybe I shoud accept the higher cost and go with triple-wall PC. Can you ascertain the cause of the leakage in your friend's GH? Wood warping? Does friend's GH use PC extrudates (H-shaped PC bars) to secure and seal PC panels? Was the PC originally well sealed with silicone? I'd sure like to communicate with your friend if he/she is willing. My email is hdc@hughes.net.

Thanks again,

Hank
