The mosquito dunks I recommended have the same active ingredient and are less than $10.
Less than 1 is needed, and there are 6 in a package.
They are available at home depot, and lowes hardware.

I just checked the online sources for Gnatrol. Apparently it is no longer being produced. But any BT I product should work (see Pantsonfire's post). The manufacturer suggests 3 treatments, a week apart. Fungus gnats have a 5 to 10 day life cycle.

"Mosquito Dunks". Put a quarter of one in your watering can. Leave it there until all gone then throw another quarter of one in. Kills the larvae in the soil.
