Default shriveled anguloa hybrid

Hi all,
couple weeks ago i bought Anguloa cliftonii x Angulocaste Victoire online.it came with rockwool in a very small pot.i saw some snail type of thing son its roots so i decided to change the poting media.there were no rotten roots.put in a bigger pot, used mixture of perlite and live sphagnum moss.thinking it will be moist enough.but today realised its pbuls has shriveled i dont what went.any ideas?

And when was the last time you checked the roots?

Has it started a new growth? It probably should do so soon if not already. The old pseudobulbs will shriven eventually as the new growths develop.

oh forgot to tell.it did with a new shoot.but the thing is how fast the pbulb shriveled.is sphagnum moss the roght media?

Sphagnum should be fine. And if the roots are fine, I wouldn't worry about it too much as long as it also has new growth.
