limp,wrinkled leaves on Phal and Catts

What should my expectations be on leaves that are limp and wrinkled, on my Phals, that I just repotted due to root issues? I also have some Catts that have wrinkled leaves, again due to previous root issues that are not doing much after repotting. Will they ever recover?

Yes your plant can recover. I had some Phals with the bottom leaves that were wrinkled and with the proper water/fertilize the new leaves should be fine.

Phal: yes.

Catt: yes.

For your Phal, if it's got at least two or three good roots you're fine.

I currently have a Cattleya in such bad shape due to extreme neglect for the past few years, and it's recovering. New roots. New shoots. I expect it to be looking awesome in three to five years.
