Question re-potting medium for Ludisia Discolor

My Ludisia is bursting out of its pot, it's time to move it on up to a larger one! But what medium should I use? It came in a medium that looks like ordinary soil mixed with a great deal of peat. Should I continue in this mien, or use a different mix- maybe african violet soil combined with a bit of terrestrial orchid medium?

Thanks for your ideas on this!

Maybe you could try coco coir, the fine shredded coconut husk. I use it for all my terrestrial plants. Although no orchids, I use or have used it with; strawberries, tomatoes, peppers, and various house plants.
You can water it all you like, as long as it has proper drainage, it will always retain a proper mix of water and air. It cannot be over-watered unlike regular potting mixes.

My original Ludisia is still potted up in plain old potting soil. I have three off shoots growing in hydroton. All are doing well and seem to like it

Mine have done well in pure sphag or a mix of pearlite, peat moss, and potting mix (1:1:1).

I prefer sphagnum for those. They send out subsurface rhizomes very easily through it and pretty soon you have a a whole cluster of plants.
