I just got one of these for no other reason than my name is Howard and it seemed a good way to re-start my orchid collection. It's in spike so I am not going to mess with it for at least a month but I bought some Oncidium potting mix and slitted orchid pots from the repotme company. They sell them singly. Once upon a time I would have put a custom mix together but I'm old and lazy now.

Quick update: When I repotted this it took me over 90 minutes to get all the old mushy moss and dead roots out of it - it was a mess and had almost nothing left to work with after I got it cleaned up. What a mess! I repotted it using a cloth wick with leca, oncidium potting mix, and just a touch of sphagnum moss on the top to help keep it moist and in place. It seems to be growing some new roots but has a long way to go. I also got it a friend - a Hilo Spaceship. It looks to be potted in a similar way - I assume for shipping. If I can get them to survive, They will make a stunning pair blooming together one day.
