Dish soap? Why would you do that
Makes no sense. For me, I believe in watering with a weak solution (125PPM Nitrogen) with every watering. For some of my species orchids that's daily. For other larger hybrids it's once or twice a week. I periodically flush the whole pot by running RO water through them. You may not see any obvious results from regular fertilizer like this, but next time it blooms it will do well. The next thing you should see is a small new shoot (or shoots) developing at the bottom of the pseudobulb that just bloomed. Next will be roots coming from the base of that pseudobulb. Once the whole pseudoblub/leaf combination reaches full developement you should see a sheath emerge from the point where the leaf connects to the pseudobulb. The next thing after the blossom emerges is you have to promise to post a picture and collect your "brownie points"
