Default growing Cyprepedium Tibeticum in Wisconsin

I have a Cyprepedium tibeticum which I wintered over in the fridge. (I was told it is too wet to leave it outdoors in winter in Wisconsin because of excess wetness during snow melt). I put it outdoors about a month ago and have covered it every time frost was possible. It seems to be doing ok, but the growth is very slow. It is only about 2 inches tall with just 2 leaves. Is this normal or do I need to do something more?

Try posting this question in the Cypripedium/Paphiopedilum/Phragmipedium section of the site. People there would be better equipped to answer your question.
