Will Physan help to rid of already existing mold?


I'm a little wary of repotting, since I've done so twice in the past six months. My phal is currently growing a few healthy new roots, but some mold is visible. I watered every two weeks and kept the plant a couple feet away from an open window, and despite the breeze I still got mold... again. I think more precautions are needed.
