Default Ho Chi Minh - can I aspect a spike?

It hasn't been doing much for a while after I repotted it. Now it has grown this small leaf on the newest growth. The leaf is not growing in length and is has been sitting there for the last 1-2 weeks. Can I be happy that a spike might be coming soon? It's been almost 2 years since the last bloom.

Gently pinch the base of the plant and see if you can feel a bulge.. and then keep looking in the center of the crown for that little sheath good luck!!
