Default Bites on my orni, is it safe?

I recently purchased this Onc. ornithorhynchum and I'm worried about the holes in the p-bulbs. Is there anything I can or should do with them or should I just hope they the bulbs are not infected with anything and that the wounds are old and will eventually go away when the plant grows 10 new p-bulbs?

The damage looks old. Nothing to do.
